Graduation for the Salesian Girls Schools

The Salesian schools around the world are known for their excellent education, especially vocational training in developing countries. The Salesian Sisters have three schools for young women in Cambodia who would not have another opportunity for education and today they had a combined graduation at the Teuk Thla campus in Phnom Penh.

Excited students waiting for the ceremony to begin. Finally it was time to march into the large open auditorium for the ceremony. Some of the students performed the traditional Khmer blessing dance which is part of every ceremony. The students from Battambang put on a small skit and fashion show, modeling various dresses they had made. The First Year students sang with heartfelt enthusiasm for their older and graduating sisters. One of the happy graduates after receiving her certificate.
